Reports to: Building Principal

Work Schedule: Will be determined by the job(s) the substitute teacher is willing to fill, current openings are available at every location

Salary: Substitute Teachers are paid $172.50 per full day, 7.5 hours is considered a full day

Job Summary:

Under the direction and supervision of the principal or designee, this teaching position will substitute for regular district teachers by planning instruction, teaching, motivating, inspiring, and assessing students in grade/subject assigned.  This teaching position will promote a high quality education program that reflects the Common Core State Standards.

The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  The employee is required to deal with distraught and/or angry persons and may be exposed to infectious diseases carried by children. The noise level in the work environment is acceptable to this particular environment and can vary depending upon daily activity but will remain within acceptable ranges.
