Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for completion of the following items in addition to those listed in the Job Description (see above)
-
- Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Required to have a valid First Aid card including CPR and training on bloodborne pathogens.
- Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Clearance.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license with proper endorsements.
- Annually submit a full Driving abstract from the Department of Licensing for the prior 5 years.
- Not have any of the disqualifying factors listed in WAC 392-144-103 or have any of the following disqualifying factors:
- In the preceding five year period, has been convicted or cited by lawful authority, (except those citations which a court or authorized administrative agency has found the applicant to be “not guilty” of), for violation of law involving hit and run driving, driving while intoxicated or under the influence of narcotics or dangerous drugs, reckless driving or negligent driving.
- Has had his/her driving license privilege suspended or revoked by a court or authorized agency in the preceding five-year period.
- Upon receiving his/her abstract, a “Failure to Appear”, will result in not being employed until this is removed by court action.
- Persons who have been convicted of driving while intoxicated, reckless driving or negligent driving will be subject to termination.
- Persons whose abstracts reflect “Failure to Appear,” have thirty days to have it removed by court action. Failure to have this done will subject the driver to termination.
- Proof of Immunization (if born 1/1/57 or later).
- I-9 Employment Eligibility in compliance with the Immigrations Reform and Control Act.
- Completion of all district-required trainings within thirty (30) calendar days from hire date.
